I was born and raised in a very rural part of France before moving around the planet to live in different countries and continents. I've been fortunate to have a very fullfilling and entertaining professional career at the forefront of science in the field of pesticide transport in the environment. Over a 20-year period, I started researching various environmental topics in different organisations, then became a leading numerical modeller in the field of pesticide transport, coordinated a large European research project and went on to create one of the most exciting startup companies around (see my detailed resume). All this required a lot of personal investment, but it's been really good fun and brought me a lot of joys. I'm now engaged in a range of entrepreneurial projects. From a more personal perspective, I have a beautiful wife and 3 lovely kids. I'm a sports fanatic, having practiced competitively racket sports, trail running, mountain biking and triathlon / adventure racing. My objective in life is to go the extra mile in everything I do. It's never crowded out there ;-) |
